Following on from last year’s fantastic event, Tony Gilham returns to the Star Room of the Merton Hotel for an evening of amazing music from the 60s, 70s & 80s.

John Uphoff Memorial Walk 2008 Royal Bay of Grouville
A sunny and beautifully dry Sunday 19th October saw the inaugural John Uphoff Memorial Walk take place in the Royal Bay of Grouville.
The bay is where John spent many hours walking with his dogs Seal and Mr. Darcy. We felt it appropriate the first of many fundraisers started there.
Blue badge guides Mike Stentiford and Tom Bunting lead the walks, one on the beach for the more able, and one through Gorey village and the surrounding area for those who need a little more wheel friendly terrain.
